Working procedure

Customers

When a customer decides to ask EPC Search for their support for the filling of a vacancy, we proceed as follows

Extensive intake on site, with conversation with HR, the direct manager, employees of the department and senior management.

Through these intensive conversations we establish a clear and sharp profile that, in some cases, differs from the original profile the customer had in mind. With a tour through the company we try to get a good feeling for the atmosphere and culture of the company. Besides hard skills such as education and experience we also put emphasis on the required soft skills. In our lengthy experience we have often seen that when a new employee doesn’t match with the existing culture this may lead to a disruption on short or long term. A certain personality is something you have or haven’t. Skills can be learned.

When agreement is reached on the terms and condition we start our work. We specialised ourselves in the methodologies “executive search” and “headhunting” and apply these also on medior positions.

Our candidates are therefore not primarily found in the job seeking part of the employment market but we actively search for the best candidate. Our candidates are therefore not applicants but they are in a process of career development.

On the basis of our selection method and extensive interviews we select the best candidate for the vacancy en introduce this candidate individually.

During the complete process we are coach for both the customer as well as the candidate. Also after the start of employment we hold ourselves available (when required) as coach and mentor to secure a long-lasting and successful employment relationship.


Candidates

By means of a file search system, networks and spontaneous applications, candidates are approached for our client's concrete vacancies. In a telephone conversation with one of our consultants, it will become clear whether the position is of interest to you. As a result of the conversation, an appointment may be made for an interview with our consultant, which will last approximately 1½ hours.
A few days later, we will consult you about the next steps to be taken.
After you have reached agreement with our consultant on your serious interest in the position, we will disclose your details to our client. Throughout this process, you will be supported by our consultant.

If we believe that you are the right candidate for the position, we will recommend you as the only candidate to our client.
Consequently, ther is no competition at that time. We are 100% confident in our recommendation of candidates. Should either you or our client decide not to continue the proceedings, another candidate will be introduced to the client.
Our clients leave the candidate selection process to EPC's consultants, because they know we have excellent networks, are extremely critical and very successful in the selection of our candidates.
